Back in 2013, Sarah and Sydney-based composer Nick Wales (CODA) collaborated on the soundtrack for Sydney Dance Company’s production Emergence.
The soundtrack is available now on iTunes and CD from good record stores.
The dance production is being presented as ‘De Novo’ and will be touring in July and August to Northern Territory, South Australia, Victoria and Tasmania. For more information on De Novo and tour dates, click here
New Album & Ruben Guthrie

Sarah is currently putting the finishing touches on her fifth studio album. The as yet untitled album will hopefully be released late in 2015, recorded at The Grove Studios on the NSW Central Coast by Engineer/Producer Burke Reid (Courtney Barnett, The Drones et al) & mixed by Welshman David Wrench (FKA Twigs, Jack Ladder, Caribou, Seekae).
In other news, ‘Ruben Guthrie’, written & directed by Brendan Cowell features a soundtrack by Sarah. The film will premiere at the Sydney Film Festival & be released in cinemas across Australia on 16th July.

Sarah has the pleasure of joining (amongst others) Mick Harvey, Brous, Kirin J Callinan, Cibo Matto, Owen Pallett, Marshall McGuire & Camille O’Sullivan on stage for some shows paying tribute to the music of filmmaker David Lynch & Angelo Badalamenti.

Taking place in January, Sarah Blasko’s Heavenly Sounds tour will see her deliver what will be her last performances celebrating her ARIA-nominated album ‘I Awake’. After performing with orchestras earlier this year, these shows promise to be an entirely different affair, as they will all be intimate shows that take place in churches and cathedrals.
