RECORDING IN SWEDEN

Sarah is currently in Stockholm, working on her fourth studio album. After a few weeks in Sweden she’ll be heading to Bulgaria to record with the Bulgarian Symphony Orchestra.

There are some photos of Sarah in the studio on her Facebook page and more will be posted as the recording process continues, so stay tuned for regular updates.

SEEKER LOVER KEEPER TOUR

Sarah will be touring Australia’s most beautiful churches and cathedrals with Seeker Lover Keeper this November as part of the new Heavenly Sounds tour. The tour will be visiting most capital cities throughout the end of November with Dave Symes returning on bass, and Bree van Reyk on the drums.

This will be Seeker Lover Keeper’s last tour together for who-knows-how-long, since Sarah, Holly and Sally are all fixing to be starting their new solo records, so you best get your tickets! All show details can be found here.

CINEMA SONGS

Sarah is releasing her Cinema Songs as an EP in UK/Europe on Oct 3rd, including her interpretation of ‘Xanadu’ which has been receiving some radio support. The 5 -track EP also features ‘Seems Like Old Times’ from ‘Annie Hall’, ‘Something Good’ from ‘The Sound Of Music’, ‘Maybe This Time’ from ‘Cabaret’ and ‘Out Here On My Own’ from ‘Fame’. UK & EUROPE TOUR

Sarah Blasko will shortly embark on a series of intimate shows through the month of October. Having toured extensively across Europe last year with her full band, these will be stripped-back performances where Sarah will be testing new songs from her forthcoming album and songs from her recent European release of As Day Follows Night. THE SONGS OF TIM & NEIL FINN

If you missed seeing Sarah on her current sold out Australian tour with Seeker Lover Keeper, then you’ll be pleased to hear she’ll be back in the country for They Will Have Their Way: The Songs of Tim & Neil Finn in November.

The show will give audiences the chance to experience the timeless work of the Finn brothers, lovingly recreated and reinterpreted by Sarah and fellow Australians Paul Dempsey, Clare Bowditch, Lior, Holly Throsby, Alexander Gow and Sally Seltmann. More information can be found here.

UKELADY

Sarah has recently started playing some beautiful handmade Brüko ukeleles from Germany… she played the tenor version on her recent tours with Peter, Bjorn & John and Lykke Li.

THE FLOWERPOT SESSIONS

Today Communion release The Flowerpot Sessions album which features 3 of Sarah’s songs, ‘All I Want‘, ‘Down On Love‘ and a new song ‘To Let Go‘ co-written and performed with Angus & Julia Stone.

Sarah will be performing at Communion-run festival Bushstock at St Stephen’s Church in Shepherd’s Bush next Saturday 4 June. Tickets and event details are available here.

SEEKER LOVER KEEPER

Last year Sarah recorded an album in New York with Holly Throsby and Sally Seltmann. Collectively known as Seeker Lover Keeper, they will be undertaking their first tour this July with the help of Jim White (Dirty Three, Cat Power) and Dave Symes. The tour dates are here and the self-titled album will be out on June 3 via Dew Process.

LYKKE LI TOUR

Next week Lykke Li will begin a European Tour in support of her new album Wounded Rhymes, and will be taking Sarah on the road as her special guest. You can find the dates and ticketing details here.
