TOURING UPDATES

Sarah will be heading to the USA this June to promote the release of As Day Follows Night, which is soon to be released over there via Dramatico Entertainment. Currently in the middle of a sold out UK tour with the Temper Trap, she will also be doing a run of dates on the European summer festival circuit. You can find the details here and there’s more to be announced shortly.

For those back home in Australia, tickets for Sarah’s October tour are currently on sale.

AUSTRALIAN TOUR

Sarah will be back in Australia this October for a 22-date national tour. See the full tour dates and buy tickets here. Tickets will go on sale at 9am on Monday 3 May.

LA BELLE FRANCE

Sarah will also be appearing on France 4’s ‘Taratata’ on Wednesday 14 April and on ARTE’s ‘One Shot Not’ on Thursday 29 April so make sure you tune in for those too.

Showtime

For those in France, in March Sarah will be performing as part of the Les Femmes S’en Melent Festival showcasing some new female voices in music from around the world. There are four shows starting on 30th March in Grenoble.

Sarah is also popping up in London to play her very own show at the Islington Academy on 15th April before doing a series of shows supporting the Temper Trap throughout the UK from the 27th April.

There are also shows booked in Sweden and Norway in early April, so please keep yourself informed by visiting the shows page.

Sarah Receives an AMP Nomination & Relocates to London

Sarah has moved to London to prepare for the release of ‘As Day Follows Night’ across Europe and the UK through Dramatico.

Just prior to her departure it was announced that she is nominated for the 2009 Australian Music Prize (AMP).

Sarah Blasko Signs To Dramatico

We are pleased to announce that Dramatico Entertainment have signed Sarah in a pan-European deal. The independent label will release her third album ‘As Day Follows Night’ in spring 2010.

Blasko joins indigenous Australian artist Gurrumul on Dramatico’s roster which also includes Katie Melua, Marianne Faithfull and Carla Bruni.

A February single release will precede the album release in March with a European tour scheduled for spring. Sarah will be basing herself in Europe for much of 2010 to support the album release. 

Fbi 94.5 Live Feed Compilation Out Now

Fbi has released a compilation made up of live recordings donated by artists. All profits will go towards keeping Fbi on the air. Sarah Blasko’s ‘We Won’t Run’ is included along with tracks from Metronomy, The Mess Hall, Adam Green, The Drones, Bill Callahan and many more.

Sarah Wins Triple J’s Album Of The Year

The J Awards were recently held in Sydney. Congratulations to The Middle East for taking out Unearthed Artist Of The Year and Art Vs Science for Best Video.

Sarah won Album Of The Year for ‘As Day Follows Night’.

Rogue’s Gallery – Pirate Ballads, Seas Songs and Chanteys

On January the 28th, in an Australian exclusive, Sarah joins a line-up of over 20 rock and folk icons, actors, punk rockers and more on the Forecourt of the Sydney Opera House, to bring the lore and fables of the pirates and sailors of the high seas to life.
